What to do, if you had a leak?

If you had a leak that was repaired, please complete the Sewer Fee Variance Request Form and submit it along with the receipt for repairs. Please contact the WWTA for all other adjustment requests at 209-7842.

WWTA will review your request and notify you in writing about your variance request.

Please note: A variance will be considered once the leak is repaired  and/or  the  plumbing is free of leaks and these leaks were large enough to cause an increase of at least  50%  in  the  sewer  bill.   The WWTA does not adjust sewer bills based on the consumption of water for continuous filling of swimming pools, sprinkler or irrigation systems, a water system for livestock, water fountains or other large water features that shall not be connected to the sanitary sewer system. However, there is an allowance for a pool credit once (1) a year as well as a courtesy adjustment unrelated to a leak every two (2) years. Customers are eligible for two (2) sewer bill adjustments in any 12 month period. Customer must submit a variance request and upon approval, the WWTA will adjust to the average 12 month bill for the month requested.  The WWTA encourages the installation of a separate landscape, garden, or lawn water meter be installed.
